Family sitting room of Edwards Place, with a small table in the center with chairs, a rocking chair and another chair in two corners. A portrait of Benjamin Edwards is above a stone fireplace and oval photos are to the side, above one of the chairs. A whatnot is behind the rocking chair with decorative items on it. To the very left is a pier mirror between the two front windows, which are covered in thick, ornate curtains.
Three windows covered in wooden blinds are on the very left. A long sofa and ornate chair sit underneath the windows. In the center is a large square arch and ornate chandelier with a fabric covered table and chair beneath. On the right is another ornate chair and floor to ceiling bookcase filled with books and with two glass doors.
A two-story italianate mansion with shutter-clad windows across the front, many chimneys, a cupola atop the home, and a large front porch reaching across most of the front of the home.
Edwards Place is closed for the season. We will open for public tours again in March, dependent upon guidance from our health and government officials. If it is deemed safe before March, we will offer private, pre-booked tours during our off-season.
